@IdiocyAstounds Laws aren’t voted on by the people in most cases, they’re taken from cases and precedents and extrapolated into whatever form the person dealing with the case wants. And yes, cops should only enforce laws they agree with. Don’t come back with some cop letting off a rapist or murderer or whatever, the people hired as police should be intelligent enough to SERVE

I am a LEO. As a Police Officer I took an oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States. Just because something is put into “law” does not in fact make it “lawful”, if it is abhorrent to the US constitution, it is null and void, and should be treated as such. If the police enforce it, juries should nullify it, and the people should force their hand to repeal it.
Simple as that. As a police officer, I do have this thing called “discretion”.
